Sallisaw Wrestling
Sallisaw Public School offers two wrestling programs for our students. The wrestling program is for students in 6th through 12th grades. There are opportunities to wrestle at the middle school, junior high, and varsity levels.
The high school program consists of 9th-12th grades. Practices will be held at the middle school wrestling room during the school year. Practices will also be held after school. There are no tryouts for wrestling, however, girls wishing to wrestle need to enroll in the sixth-hour athletic class, and boys wishing to wrestle need to enroll in the seventh-hour athletic class.
The middle school program consists of 6th through 8th graders. Middle school wrestling is an in-school program. Practices will be held during the school day. Although most tournaments and duals will be Jr. High (7th-9th) there will be opportunities for 6th graders to wrestle.
