Notice of Nondiscrimination
Sallisaw Public School, in compliance with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act, Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act, Title II of the American Disabilities Act, does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national origin, sex, age, or disability in any of its programs and activities and provides equal access to the Boy Scouts and other designated youth groups. Sallisaw Public School has adopted grievance procedures for filing, processing, and resolving alleged discrimination complaints concerning discrimination based upon race, color, religion, national origin, gender, age, disability, and veteran status.
Sallisaw Public School provides equal opportunities which include but are limited to admissions, educational services, financial aid, and employment. It is our intent to follow all state and federal laws regarding nondiscrimination.
Any student or parent who believes he or she has been discriminated against based upon one of these protected categories is encouraged to file a discrimnation complaint.
